The Purpose of SEMBA
The purposes for which SEMBA is organized are to:
1) disseminate the latest information and improved methods of beekeeping,
2) promote fellowship and cooperation among beekeepers,
3) cultivate a friendly relationship between honey producers and consumers,
4) assist, whenever possible,
SEMBA is organized exclusively for educational purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations under section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Codes.the Michigan Beekeepers’ Association;
the Michigan Department of Agriculture;
the Michigan State University Department of Entomology;
and other local, state, and national beekeeping organizations.
